Feedback from Polly Lockitt

After my test shoot with Polly Lockitt produced some great results, I was very pleased to receive this recommendation from Polly over on Purestorm:

“I had a lovely shoot with Richard recently, at my home. Richard is professional, respectful, friendly and well mannered. The time flew by! I very much enjoyed working with Richard and I can not wait for our second shoot! I highly recommend Richard to all models. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Richard for a great shoot and see you soon, x”

Polly Lockitt Photoshoot

I had a lovely shoot with Polly Lockitt yesterday at her flat in Orpington. It started off even better as Polly has a habit of laying on something to eat for the photographer: in my case, a sausage bap! Fabulous!

The shoot was really a test shoot to see if we clicked artistically and we did: Polly’s a great model to work with and her photos really don’t do her justice. Some great nudes and some lovely lingerie shots. Time didn’t permit us to really go to town – that’ll teach us for nattering away during the shoot!

Some of the results are in the Lingerie, Artistic and Headshot albums.

Quickie Shoot with Emma Kate Dawson (EKD)

What a lovely way to spend your lunch hour: on my way from London to the North-West, I popped in to see Emma Kate Dawson for a quick shoot (and a couple of cuppas!) today at her place in Burton-on-Trent.

It’s always a pleasure to see EKD and have a proper natter whilst firing off a few shots. The results are in the Art Nudes and Lingerie, Headshots and Artistic albums:

August Booked Up!

OK, that’s August accounted for: a shoot in Kent (outside and inside) and another shoot (street fashion, latex and mainstream lifestyle) with the fabulous Anita De Bauch, who’s also left me some great feedback over on Purestorm:

“I shot with Richard and Madame Bink at Light Spot Studio on 30th July and would happily do so again. He was punctual, friendly, polite and professional, and we were both delighted with the photos. I would highly recommend Richard to anyone and am already planning my next shoot with him!”

In other news, I’ve ordered some new kit: a Canon EOS-7D, Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens and a Canon Speedlite 580EX II flashgun for external work, mainly, though I may use it with my Bowens Gemini 200 Kit lights too as a trigger and bounce/fill-in flash.

Photoshoot with Marlyn Lindsay

Saturday saw a shoot with Marlyn Lindsay and it was an absolute pleasure! She’s a true professional and a joy to ‘work’ with: a “can do” mentality with a wardrobe to die for!

Not only that, she was great fun too and I even got coffees and teas (and biscuits and an offer of food)!

We’ve already got some ideas for further shoots and I would recommend her in an instant to anyone wanting to work with a fantastic model. The first model I’ve ever got through an entire memory card with (and more): the poses, outfits and ideas were coming thick and fast. If you’re a photographer, do yourself a favour and book her up!

She also left me some great feedback on Purestorm:

“Had an absolutely great shoot with Richard today. From the outset, he makes you feel at ease and comfortable. Had some really great ideas and the shoot just flew by.

I would more than happily recommend Richard to any model, he really is a joy to work with.

Thank you for a great afternoon, I look forward to seeing the results and working with you again soon.

Marlyn x”

Some of the results can be seen in my Lingerie and Art Nude, Artistic, Fashion and Pin-Up portfolios.

Busy Weekend Ahead!

As the subject line goes, I’ve a busy weekend ahead, starting off with a meeting of the London Creative Network – click here to visit them on Facebook – followed by two shoots in London and Luton. I can see a lot of late nights coming up going through the images looking for the best ones to use!

Watch this space for the results.

Here’s the third shot from the “Dodgy Deal” theme element of the photoshoot Janey and I did with Andrew Appleton: dark and mysterious!

Here’s the second shot from the “Top Gear” themed element, me with my R3 and Janey with her 40th Anniversary:

Yesterday, Janey and I went out to do a photoshoot featuring the two RX-8s with a great local photographer, Andrew Appleton.

Most of the shots – from three different themes – are being processed now, but in the meantime, here’s me in a casual pose with my R3:
